- Crude, childish icons that aren’t consistent with the Vista theme
- Icons from pre-Windows XP still remain
- No improvements in regards to multiple monitors
- RegEdit is still the same as it was before XP
- Taskbar is still terrible, Microsoft won’t listen to users. Text on the taskbar is still hard to read
- Explorer and Windows Media Player are still too dumb to correctly read IDv3 tags
- Explorer and Photo Viewer are still too dumb to automatically rotate photos taken in Portrait orientation

I’d call it the Nikon FX70.
The thought that this will never become a reality is beyond depressing.
I don’t understand why these companies don’t think of these things. How come they only listen to pros?

A lot of us were waiting for a new 35mm, and now you released a CROPPED FRAME lens, with a F/1.8 aperture instead of 1.4?!

After Effects is broken. OpenGL operations crash it immediately. Adobe have yet to solve the problem.

Flash has a bug that causes .FLA files to be abnormally huge in size.

Photoshop hardly benefits from the graphics card. I went from a 7900 GT to a 9800 GTX+ and the difference in performance was hardly noticeable at all.

The only updates i’m really happy with are Dreamweaver (which now has Javascript code hinting) and Illustrator. The whole package feels bloaty. And where’s my Ultra?

EDIT: The Photoshop 11.0.1 update vastly improved the performance, but it’s still not perfect.

UPDATE: I lost it last week. Goes to show how much of a burden this thing is.

The GUI is absolutely atrocious. It’s a throwback to the mid 1990′s in terms of both looks AND functionality. It doesn’t seamlessly integrate into the operating system you’re using, be it Windows or MacOS X.

I hope to god that Adobe buys Autodesk so they can fix up this moronic interface. Why can’t I dock and tab windows? The multi-monitor support is no less than crap too. How come Output (which is a useless window to me) is the only (besides the main window of course) window that shows up on the taskbars?

Hypershade is a mess. A mess of lines, that is. Why can’t they show the input/output names on the nodes like every other flowchart interface does?

Where are the modifiers like in 3DS Max? I want to apply non-destructive effects to my models, like greeble and such.

There is no easy way to set grid size. I ‘block’ out the basic shapes with snapping turned on, and as I get to the details, it’s hard to work with because my grid size is too big.

Any tool that snaps to lines/edges is a pain. Why can’t it snap to the middle point of a line/edge?
